Well I guess this should have been expected. For some reason the AC at the house I have been living at, hasn't been working correctly for some time.
The AC guy stated that there was a unique problem with the unit that caused the main board to short out. He showed me the problem. After he left I went back out to take some photos. It would appear as though that snake had been in the unit for some time and was still causing problems.
The main board has been replaced, though there are other electronic things that need to be replaced as well, almost a domino effect.
